I use it everyday and I like it. However, one word of caution here: the numbers you will see might fluctuate from day to day. This is perfectly normal, since Google has more than 50 data centers now, and you never can tell which one is producing the results for you at any given time.

What we do here at Rank for $ales is, we plot a graph of all our client's sites. From the command I've given you above, we get the results from Google's database, then we enter those results in a large database once a month. Why only once a month you may ask? I don't think it's really necessary to do it everyday. I find that once a month removes all the small "ups and down" variations from day to day.

What you are really interested in should be the steady monthly progress in the number of your files Google has in its database. If you see that number increase month after month, you know you are really building a great resource. Since we're on the subject of building a great website, just think for a minute how big and valuable your site will be after say three years, if you continually create and upload 15 new pages a day.
