After they dropped their previous SEO company, they hired us and once we completely optimized their site, a few weeks later, they were in the number two position in Google, and they have since moved to the number one position, for the generic keywords "Santa Fe Real Estate". Needless to say, now they're satisfied of the work we done.

I'm still waiting for a reprint permission from McGraw-Hill Publications. As soon as I get it (sometime next week), I will be happy to post it here and I will create a permanent link on the Rank for $ales website, as well as my personal blog.

Over the past two years, I have been interviewed and quoted in such publications as the New York Post, Time Magazine, Dow Jones News, Business Week, Canada.com, the Globe and Mail and many other well-known publications.

In the news, things were a bit quieter this week, but there were still things happening on many fronts. Without further delay, let's get right down to it.

Microsoft plans to improve its search capabilities from July, as it looks to compete with heavyweights Google and Yahoo, Microsoft chairman and chief software architect Bill Gates said today. Gates told a media briefing in Sydney the company had "several milestones with its search site" on the way.

"In July, the format of the site will change -- and so will the quality of what you get -- and the way it'll look is dramatically improved," Gates said. "It'll be later this year that we actually roll out what's entirely our own back end driving the search".
