We have all heard the expression before that in real estate, it is location, location, location. In SEO, replace those 3 words with content, content, content. People looking for information today want to find what they are looking for. If your site is rich in great content, includes 'How To' articles, has an industry news section, a section on new products or services, and if you update it constantly with fresh new content, people will come back for more all the time. And this goes for the search engines as well.

Once the engines notice that your site is updated everyday (or just about everyday), they will place it in the 'frequently updated' group of sites to index, since there seems to be two groups: sites that are daily maintained by their site owners or their webmasters, and... the others. Make sure you fall in the former category and you will do very well, I assure you.

If this takes a lot from you, try at least to upload just one new file every two days and it could make a big difference in the rankings of your site. Every little bit helps, and it's a combined sum of day to day efforts that really counts in the long run.
