The Rank for $ales Weekly Newsletter, page 16

(Continued)     October 2, 2004 edition

While we're on the subject of leasing links, did you know you can increase the revenue your site presently generates by "renting" some of your valuable "screen real estate" to other sites that will be happy to pay you for the extra traffic?

That's right. As much as you can 'rent' links from a broker, you can also sell some too, and Link Rent.com will pay you a price for placing other sites' links on your site. The actual going rates are dependent on your industry, on how much PR you have on any given page, on the current level of interest for links in your specific field, plus a whole lot of factors. For more information, visit their website on how you can generate revenue by leasing links.

If you would like to learn more about Link Rent, last June, there was an interview done by Low Cost Web Hosting Review on the company's CEO, Mark Rosenstein. You can read it by clicking here.

If you are a website owner or a webmaster, and if you are really serious in increasing your rankings and your visibility on the Internet, you need to increase the number of inbound links at your website. One good method of achieving this is through renting links. Hope that helps.

1) Is Google PR still important?

Since 1998 when Sergey Brin and Larry Page developed the Google search engine, it has relied (and continues to rely) on the Page Rank™ Algorithm.
