The Rank for $ales SEO Weekly Newsletter

Hello to all of you and welcome back. Well, Google finally did it! The company's shares are now traded on NASDAQ and Google is now a public company. As late as Wednesday, things were not so sure if the stock would trade this week. The SEC launched an inquiry into Google's lack of registering certain shares it awarded to some of its employees.

At any rate, the stock started trading late Thursday morning and opened at around $95.00 a share. Google's official IPO price was lowered from the estimated $108 to $135 price range, all the way down to $85.00. Interestingly, its stock closed above $108 yesterday on NASDAQ, after gaining on both Thursday and Friday. If you would like to follow it, Google's stock ticker symbol is GOOG.

Apart from Google going public, this week was an average one in the search engine news. So without further delay, let's read the news.
